THE 570 WRESTLING CAMP IS BEING OFFERED AT STROUDSBURG HIGH SCHOOL JULY 18 AND 19 FROM 9AM TO 1PM. THIS CAMP IS FOR ANY ATHLETE GOING INTO 2ND THROUGH 8TH GRADES.
WHETHER YOU ARE JUST STARTING WRESTLING OR YOU HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, THIS IS THE CAMP FOR YOU!

570 Wrestling Camp will be run by Stroudsburg Head Wrestling Coach Sean Richmond and other top area Varsity coaches.

Camp will focus on teaching the fundamentals of wrestling essential to competing at the highest level.

Instruction will focus on top, bottom and neutral positions.

Practice with and wrestle against some of the top wrestlers in the Poconos!

Accomplished Varsity wrestlers will serve as camp counselors.

Coach Sean Richmond
Sean Richmond was born in Allentown, PA and graduated from Easton Area High School in 2004. At Easton Area High School. He earned three varsity letters in wrestling and served as a team captain in his junior and senior years. His teams captured four consecutive PIAA State Dual Meet Championships from 2001-2004 and a Public School National Championship in 2003. He finished with a career record of 109-26 and won a District XI championship at 160 lbs. in 2004, two Northeast Regional Championships, two PIAA medals (4th 5th), and became a two time All-American.
Mr. Richmond continued his wrestling career at the University of Pittsburgh where he was a three year starter. He also placed twice in the Eastern Wrestling League Championships and qualified for the NCAA tournament in 2007. In addition, Mr. Richmond was on the Eastern Wrestling League All Academic team all four years. In 2008, Mr. Richmond graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in History.
Coach Richmond began his teaching and coaching career in Easton Area School District where he taught 7th grade history and was an assistant high school wrestling coach from 2008-2013. In August 2013, he began teaching and coaching wrestling at Delaware Valley School District in Milford, PA where he taught for four years.. After coaching at DV, he returned to coach at Easton Area High School for an additional two years. During his time as an assistant coach at Easton and DV, Mr. Richmond coached one state champion, three state finalists, eighteen PIAA medalists overall and fourteen District champions. In addition, his teams placed in the top 4 in the PIAA three times and he coached four consecutive PIAA District Dual Championship teams.
Coach Richmond became the Head Wrestling Coach at Stroudsburg High School in 2016-2017 and began teaching tenth grade history in 2017-2018. His wrestling teams have compiled a 49-18 record and he has coached three District XI champions, eight PIAA qualifiers, and four PIAA medalists. Mr. Richmond is the Director of Athletics & Student Activities where he oversees all interscholastic sports and extracurricular activities.
